Malinda currently serves as our Chief Compliance Officer, developing and administering Freestone’s compliance program. She previously served as Deputy Chief Compliance Officer, helping define the firm’s compliance processes. Prior to joining Freestone in 2017, Malinda worked as a Compliance Supervisor at an alternative asset management firm, overseeing their day-to-day advisory compliance operations.
Education
Malinda earned a BA in Business with a focus on Legal Studies in Business from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. She also holds the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional (IACCP®) designation

In her spare time, Malinda enjoys being outside, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
